"Take a frantic trip around New York City."
As one of the most active electronic musicians and DJs over the past decade, 3ASiC is undoubtedly a rare, versatile talent in China's bass scene, acclaimed in both underground and popular music circles.
He seamlessly integrates acoustic experiments into ambient music composition and performance, while also captivating global dancefloors with productions and DJ sets drawing essence from UK bass music. Even if you haven't heard his original work, his collaborations with Jony J on "套路 (Routine)" and with A Duo on "天生傲鼓 (Born with Proud Drums)" have become representative works in Chinese Trap and fusion ethnic music, respectively. Meanwhile, his self-released singles on Bandcamp have garnered support from bass heavyweights like Noisia, Ma Sha, and Jacques Greene.
As a DJ, he excels in blending bass music styles including Dubstep, Grime, Experimental, Trap, and Techno. As early as 2018, Boiler Room praised him as "one of China's finest bass music producers." His presence has expanded from local underground clubs in China to international platforms such as ADE, Keep Hush, and Rinse FM.
He was also an active promoter in the early scene, co-founding the party collective Nanking Electro and the music label Project Sync. Recently, he founded "inexist.club" as a platform to explore and release new sounds. The collaboration EP "IC-002" with LJC is released through this label. In the realm of Audio-Visual crossover creation, he has collaborated on multiple projects with visual artists like Raven Kwok. His work continuously explores the possibilities of electronic music and has received attention and coverage from media outlets including i-D, Dummy Magazine, Beatport, and FACT Magazine.
